The DuraRack is specifically engineered to house the Fortress Power eFlex 5.4kWh and eFlex MAX battery modules. Standard 19-inch server rack batteries from other brands may not fit the mounting rails or cabling layout.

Q2: Is it fully waterproof?

Yes, the enclosure is IP65 rated, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is designed for outdoor installation, though placing it under an awning or shade is recommended to reduce thermal load.

Q3: Does it come with the batteries?

No. The DuraRack is sold as an empty enclosure with internal wiring hardware. The eFlex battery modules must be purchased separately.

Q4: How does the cooling work?

The cabinet features a 48V DC fan integrated into the door or top cap, powered directly by the battery bank. It uses a thermostat to turn on automatically when the internal temperature rises, pulling cool air in through filtered vents.
