Growatt APX-US parallel extension package: the second base and connecting cables needed to install one APX HV battery system in two columns. Growatt specifies it for floor-mounted 25 kWh (5-module) and 30 kWh (6-module) APX systems.

Growatt APX-US parallel extension package: for two-column APX installations
An APX HV battery system stacks up to five modules in one column, and Growatt advises two columns above four modules. Growatt’s APX user manual says that to install one APX battery system in two columns, you need the APX-US parallel extension package. It contains the base for the second column and the power, communication and ground cables that link the two columns.
In Growatt’s configuration table the package is used for floor-mounted 25 kWh (5 modules) and 30 kWh (6 modules) systems. Wall-mounted APX systems are limited to four modules, so they don’t use it.

Growatt’s two-column wiring instruction shows how the cables route through the knock-outs in both bases. The communication-cable sleeve is marked 1BM/2BM/3BM for the number of modules on the second base.
Compatibility
- APX 5.0P-B1-US battery modules in an APX HV battery system. The APX datasheet lists MIN 3000–11400TL-XH-US as the compatible inverters.
- Only needed for a two-column installation.
