AIMS Power KITHY96230BAT Hybrid Kit

The AIMS Power KITHY96230BAT pairs the PIHY9600 hybrid inverter charger with AIMS’ pre-wired 230 V lithium battery cabinet to give a home or small facility grid-tie, battery backup and solar management in one system. The inverter delivers 9.6 kW continuous (11.5 kW peak for 10 minutes), accepts up to 15 kW of solar on three MPPT inputs and is listed to UL 1741-SA; the LFP230V96A-M master cabinet stores 22,114 Wh in six pre-wired LiFePO4 packs with its own BMS and connects to the inverter with three wires.

Choose self-use, sell-first or charge-first operation, add a 240 V generator for extended outages, keep an isolated backup (EPS) circuit alive and monitor everything from the AIMS app. This kit is exactly the two components AIMS lists: solar panels, PV wire, racking and the battery-to-inverter fuse kit are not included. Applications

• Home solar with backup: Runs the home from solar, stores the excess in the cabinet and switches to battery in a blink when the grid goes down.
• Time-of-use savings: Charge the batteries when rates are low or from solar, then power the house through peak-rate hours.
• Off-grid or generator-assisted: Works with or without the grid; a 240 V generator input can recharge the cabinet when the sun is not enough.

Solar panels, racking, PV wire and the battery-to-inverter fuse kit are not part of this kit. Installation by a qualified electrician; grid interconnection per your utility.

AIMS Power lists a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on the PIHY9600 hybrid inverter. AIMS lithium battery cabinets carry a lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects up to 3,500 cycles under AIMS’ current warranty terms; battery warranty service is provided directly by AIMS Power.
