Oversized PV Control. Safe Integration. For homes with massive solar systems that exceed the aGate’s standard input limits (or the battery’s charging capacity), the aPbox acts as a gatekeeper. It intelligently manages the power flow, automatically curtailing excess generation when necessary to prevent battery overcharging or grid backfeed issues, ensuring your system operates safely without needing to downsize your solar array.

NEM Integrity. Smart Export. The aPbox helps preserve legacy Net Energy Metering (NEM) statuses. By managing new, additional solar arrays separately from existing ones, it allows homeowners to expand their solar capacity to meet growing energy needs (like EVs) without necessarily jeopardizing the favorable utility rates tied to their original solar installation.
