Growatt WIT 35K-HU-US L2: a mid-size 208 V three-phase hybrid
The Growatt WIT 35K-HU-US L2 is a three-phase hybrid inverter for 208 V and 220 V services. It combines PV input, a high-voltage battery port and a backup (off-grid) AC output in one floor-standing unit. Seven MPP trackers and up to 75.6 kW of recommended PV give room for split roof planes and carports on light-commercial sites.
When the grid is available it runs grid-tied with battery storage. During an outage it supplies the backup loads at 120/127 V L-N and 208/220 V L-L, with a transfer time of 16.6 ms or less and up to 100% load unbalance across phases.

Batteries, meter and what is included
- Batteries are not included. The battery input accepts 380–650 V DC (512 V recommended) over RS485/CAN. Growatt’s WIT 28–55K + APX ESS datasheet (preliminary, July 2024) documents the APX HV commercial battery systems with this inverter: APX 86.0H-S1-US (86 kWh), APX 100.3H-S1-US (100 kWh) or APX 114.6H-S1-US (114 kWh), each listed for full-load AC output with this model, using the APX 1000140-C1-US control module. For any other battery, check Growatt’s Approved Battery List before ordering.
- Meter and CTs: not included. Growatt recommends an energy meter and current transformers for export limitation. Growatt’s TPM-CT-E-US datasheet lists the meter as compatible with the WIT series.
- In the box (Growatt user manual, Table 4.1): the inverter, 14 pairs of PV connectors and metal contacts, battery +/− terminals, two 16-pin and one 30-pin communication terminals, a BMS power-supply terminal, an antenna and RJ45 protector (the count depends on the datalogger fitted: WiFi&LAN or WiFi&4G), two hoist rings, four expansion bolts, a housing ground terminal, the user manual and the quick installation guide. Models with the RSD function also ship with RSD accessories.
Certifications and warranty
The January 2026 datasheet lists UL 1741:2021, UL 1741 SA/SB:2020, IEEE 1547:2018, IEEE 1547.1:2020, HECO Rule 14, E-5000, CSIP, SA17–SA18, UL 1998:2018, CEC, FCC Part 15 and CSA C22.2 No. 107.1. It lists a 5-year standard warranty with a 10-year option. The warranty document issued with the product governs.
