The OutBack Power GSLC-PV-300VDC is a specialized, pre-wired load center designed specifically for high-voltage solar arrays using the Radian Series GS8048A inverter and the FLEXmax 100 (FM100) charge controllers.
Unlike standard GSLC models rated for 150V, this unit features 300VDC rated PV breakers, allowing you to take full advantage of the FM100’s higher voltage capability. This enables longer solar strings, reduced wiring costs, and greater system efficiency.

Q1: Can I use this with FLEXmax 80 (FM80) controllers?
No. The breakers in this unit are arranged for the FM100, and it lacks the external GFDI breaker required for the FM60/FM80. If you are using FM80s, buy the standard GSLC175-PV-120/240 instead.
Q2: Does this work with the 4kW Radian (GS4048A)?
This specific model (PV-300VDC) is wired with dual 175A breakers for the 8kW inverter. If you have the 4kW inverter, you technically only need one main breaker. You should look for the GSLC-PV1-300VDC (note the “1”), or you can use this unit and simply leave the second inverter breaker unused.
Q3: Where is the GFDI breaker?
This unit does not have a GFDI breaker. It is designed exclusively for the FLEXmax 100, which has internal ground fault protection. If you use a different controller that needs external GFDI, this box will not be code-compliant out of the box.
Q4: How many charge controllers can I connect?
This unit is pre-wired for two FLEXmax 100 charge controllers.
Q5: Is this unit waterproof?
No. Like all GSLC models, it is NEMA 1 (Indoor Only). It must be installed in a protected environment like a garage or utility room.
