Two ways to add storage
For a new system, a HYS hybrid inverter runs your solar and battery together. To add a battery to existing solar, the AC-coupled HAS inverter retrofits onto your current array — no need to replace what you have.
The components
- HYS hybrid (HYS-3.8 to 11.5LV-USG1) — dual MPPT, off-grid ready, whole-home backup capable.
- HAS AC-coupled (HAS-3.8 to 11.5LV-USG1) — ultralight, split-phase, retrofit-friendly.
- LB-10D-USG2 — 10 kWh LFP battery (10-year warranty).
- HRSD-2C rapid shutdown and DTS communications.
- DTSU666Â split-phase meter for consumption and export.
