Start with a microinverter, match the gateway, cabling, and meter, add free monitoring — then add storage when you’re ready.
The Hoymiles ecosystem at a glance
Every Hoymiles system starts with a microinverter line, then adds a matching DTU gateway (for monitoring and grid profile), the right AC cabling, an optional DTSU666 meter for export control, and free S-Miles Cloud monitoring. Storage is a separate path you can add now or later.

DTU-PRO-S pairs with HMS; DTU-Pro pairs with the HM line. Confirm capacity and module compatibility on the official datasheet.
Two ways to put it together
Path 1 — Grid-tied solar
1) Pick the microinverter line (HMS or HM-NT). 2) Add the matching DTU. 3) Add AC cabling for the line (trunk for HMS/HM-NT, connector for HM-N). 4) Turn on free S-Miles monitoring; add the DTSU666 meter for export control. 5) Large HMS arrays? Add the HMS-C Combiner Box.
Path 2 — Solar + storage
New build: HYS hybrid inverter + LB-10D-USG2 battery + HRSD-2C rapid shutdown + DTS comms + DTSU666 meter. Already have a microinverter array? AC-couple storage with HAS + the same battery, RSD, comms, and meter — no need to replace the existing PV.
