The short answer
HMS is a 1-in-1 line — one microinverter per module (HMS-350-1T to HMS-500-1T). HM-NT / HM-N offers 1-, 2-, and 4-in-1 units, so a single unit can serve multiple modules (HM-300NT to HM-800NT, plus HM-1200NT and HM-1500N).
