The FranklinWH aGate X (AGT-R1V3-US), acting as the intelligent controller of the Franklin Home Power system, seamlessly integrates solar, grid, battery, and generator power. It provides a robust microgrid interconnect, ensuring your home stays powered during outages while optimizing energy usage for savings. You can manage your entire energy ecosystem directly from the FranklinWH App.

Key Features

Robust Control. High Capacity. The aGate X (V3) features a heavy-duty 280A busbar, designed to handle high continuous currents and often eliminating the need for a main panel upgrade (MPU) during installation. It is rated for a 22 kA short circuit current, ensuring safety and compliance with modern electrical standards.

True Energy Independence. As a Micro-grid Interconnect Device (MID), the aGate X disconnects from the grid in milliseconds during an outage to form a local energy network. It is compatible with any solar inverter (AC-coupled) and supports standby generator integration (up to 200A), giving you the flexibility to choose the best power sources for your home.

Smart Load Management. With the optional Smart Circuits Module, the aGate X allows for precise control of specific household loads. You can automatically shed heavy appliances like HVAC units or EV chargers during an outage to extend battery runtime, or schedule them to run only when solar production is high.
