N-Type TOPCon, 16BB half-cut
Monocrystalline N-Type TOPCon cells with 16 busbars in a half-cut layout: 108 cells on HiN-T NF(BK), 144 on HiN-T NI. Pmax temperature coefficient −0.30 %/°C.
Bifacial glass/glass
2.0 mm + 2.0 mm semi-tempered glass with AR coating; bifaciality 80 ± 10 %. HD Hyundai publishes bifacial nameplate irradiance (BNPI) ratings, e.g. 488 W for HiN-T440NF(BK).
Load and system ratings
1,500 V DC maximum system voltage, Fire Performance Type 29, Stäubli MC4 connectors and IP68 junction box. Test load 5,400 Pa front (NF(BK) and NI); rear 5,400 Pa NF(BK), 2,400 Pa NI.
Listed and warranted
CSA Certificate of Compliance 80228659 lists HiN-T NF(BK) and NI to UL 61730. 30-year linear performance warranty (99 % year 1, 87.4 % at year 30; front-side output).

CSE lists the current US HiN-T440NF(BK) and HiN-T435NF(BK) full-black residential modules and the HiN-T595NI commercial module, plus earlier HiS-S YH(BK) Mono PERC models while available.
Are Hyundai HiN-T panels N-type and bifacial?
Yes. HD Hyundai’s datasheets describe the HiN-T NF(BK) and NI series as N-Type TOPCon, 16BB half-cut bifacial cells in a glass/glass build, with bifaciality of 80 ± 10 %. The earlier YH(BK) models are Mono PERC bifacial with a transparent backsheet.
What warranty do Hyundai panels have?
