HMS-1T-NA
One microinverter per module, 319 to 475 VA continuous. Sub-1G communication, UL 1741 SB, NEC 690.12 rapid shutdown.
HMS-2T-NA
Two modules on one unit with an independent MPPT for each, 638 to 958 VA continuous.
HMS-4T-NA
Four modules and four MPPTs per unit, 1,440 to 1,918 VA continuous, on a 10 AWG AC branch.
DTU gateways and DTS
DTU-Pro-S (Sub-1G, for HMS-NA) and DTU-Pro (2.4 GHz, for HM series) each monitor up to 99 modules in S-Miles Cloud. DTS-Wi-Fi-G1 connects HYS inverters.
HYS-LV-USG1 and LB-10D-USG2
HYS hybrid inverters from 3.8 to 11.5 kW, 120/240 V split-phase with a 48 V battery input. LB-10D-USG2: 10.24 kWh LFP, up to 10 in parallel.
Every module, its own conversion
Each Hoymiles microinverter tracks its modules independently and converts DC to AC right at the array. Units of different sizes can share an AC branch, and a DTU gateway collects module-level data for S-Miles Cloud.

Hoymiles HYS hybrid inverters and LB-10D-USG2 batteries
HYS-LV-USG1 hybrid inverters bring solar, battery and backup together on 120/240 V split-phase systems. Hoymiles lists the LB-10D-USG2 low-voltage battery alongside the HYS series. CSE confirms the exact configuration for your project.

What does Hoymiles make?
Hoymiles makes microinverters (HMS-NA, HM-NT and HM-N series for North America), DTU monitoring gateways for S-Miles Cloud, AC trunk and daisy-chain cable systems, and HYS hybrid inverters with LB-10D-USG2 batteries for storage.
Which Hoymiles microinverters are current for North America?
The HMS-NA series (1-in-1, 2-in-1 and 4-in-1) is Hoymiles’ current North America line and communicates over Sub-1G with the DTU-Pro-S. HM-NT and HM-N are the earlier North America generation using 2.4 GHz RF and the DTU-Pro gateway.
Do Hoymiles microinverters support rapid shutdown?
Yes. Hoymiles North America microinverter datasheets state that the units are PV rapid shutdown equipment conforming with NEC 2017 and NEC 2020 Article 690.12 and CEC 2021 Sec 64-218.
How many microinverters can go on one AC branch?
It depends on the model and wire size. For example, Hoymiles lists up to 3 HMS-2000-4T-NA units on a 10 AWG (30 A) branch at 240 V, and up to 8 HMS-500-1T-NA units on a 12 AWG (20 A) branch at 240 V. See the table above and follow local code.
Which gateway do I need for monitoring?
HMS-NA microinverters work with Sub-1G gateways such as the DTU-Pro-S. HM-NT and HM-N microinverters use the 2.4 GHz DTU-Pro. Each gateway monitors up to 99 modules and connects to S-Miles Cloud.
