Fox ESS builds residential solar-plus-storage equipment: hybrid inverters, stackable lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries and the energy management hardware that ties them together. The PowerQ system is modular. One 11.4 kW hybrid inverter sits on top of a stack of two to five EQ4000 battery modules, giving 7.95 to 19.87 kWh of storage in a single outdoor-rated tower. Add the Hub G2 for whole-home backup, generator input and smart load circuits. Buy the components separately or choose a matched bundle below.
The PowerQ 11.4kW (model AIO-H1-11.4-US) is a transformerless split-phase hybrid inverter with three MPP trackers, a 600 Vdc PV input and 97.0 % CEC efficiency. It supports DC-coupled new installations and AC-coupled retrofits, and up to four units can run in parallel through the Hub G2.
The EQ4000 is the high-voltage LiFePO4 battery module for the PowerQ. Modules stack beneath the inverter and connect through built-in stacking connectors, so capacity grows one 3.97 kWh module at a time. The EQ4000 works with Fox ESS PowerQ inverters only.
Each bundle combines one PowerQ 11.4kW inverter with the battery modules it needs to operate. A bundle is available only while every included component is available, and it ships as separate cartons by LTL freight.

CSE Solar USA lists the Fox ESS PowerQ 11.4kW hybrid inverter, the EQ4000 3.97 kWh battery module, the Hub G2 200A energy management system, the Smart 4GWiLAN monitoring dongle and three PowerQ bundles that combine the inverter with two or three batteries, with or without the Hub G2.
A PowerQ inverter needs at least two EQ4000 modules to operate. In the US mainland, 2 to 5 modules are supported per inverter, which gives 7.95, 11.92, 15.9 or 19.87 kWh of storage.
Backup output depends on the number of battery modules. Fox ESS rates the PowerQ 11.4kW at 5,760 W with two EQ4000 modules, 8,640 W with three and 11,400 W with four or five.
The Hub G2 is required for whole-home backup, generator input, smart load circuits and for running up to four inverters in parallel. A PowerQ system can be installed without it for partial-home (backed-up loads panel) applications. Your installer should confirm the right architecture for your service.
Under the Fox ESS US Warranty Policy V3.0, the PowerQ inverter, EQ4000 batteries and Hub G2 carry a 150-month (12.5-year) warranty from installation and commissioning, and no more than 155 months from manufacture. Coverage is limited to 60 months from manufacture if the system runs without data communication to Fox Cloud. Accessories such as monitoring dongles carry 24 months. Warranty service is provided by Fox ESS under its published terms.
The Fox ESS datasheets list UL 1741 SA, UL 1741 SB, UL 1998, UL 1699B, UL 9540, IEEE 1547-2018, California Rule 21, HECO SRD-V2.0 and FCC Part 15 Class B for the PowerQ inverter, and UL 1973, UL 9540 and UL 9540A for the EQ4000 battery. Always confirm current listings with your utility and permitting office.

Fox ESS hybrid inverters and high-voltage batteries are grid-interactive electrical equipment. They must be installed by a qualified, licensed installer in line with the Fox ESS manuals, the National Electrical Code and local permitting and utility interconnection rules.
